With SunPower®’s unique all back contact cell design it doesn’t suffer the losses all other panels have through shading from their metal contacts which are visible on top of the cells. These metal contacts are on the back of SunPower® Maxeon solar cells, they can be extra wide and thick enhancing the panel’s ability to conduct electrical current.
